Funders Board Center FAQ

Partners

The Center works with partners ranging from public
schools to government initiatives, serving Pre-K
students to high school seniors and to families going
through difficult times. However, the most important
aspect of our partnerships is how they strengthen and support each other.

A family violence prevention program helps a student
handle difficult times and still remain in school.
That local school inspires good citizenship and supports a strong community. That strong community gives back to the organizations that sustain its greatest needs.

Throughout it all, the Center listens and provides while following and adapting to the ebb and flow of need. Reaching out to the 40,000 prospective students in our community, the Center’s Pre-K through sixth grade programs reinforce a young child’s self-esteem.

Working with violence reduction efforts in our long impoverished neighborhood, the Center helps to change the focus and gives everyone a chance to breathe.

The Center’s work in the public schools helps bring a
brightness that is no longer sustainable in an era of
restricted budgets and our work in the community just keeps on giving back, through influences, actions, and the setting of new goals.

The joy of partnering with our colleagues is a chance for accomplishment and shared vision: each child is a gift, each child has potential, and to each child, we give and give again.
