For the past 43 years, tens of thousands of local youth, hundreds of artists from around the world, community leaders and neighborhood residents together have built a shared home with deep roots  - open to a wide and complex world.

The Center opens its doors to Richmond and beyond for a community benefit celebration of our new home. Featuring international food, beverages and entertainment.

The evening will include a very special performance by Edgardo Cambon and Candela, the premiere Bay Area Salsa band! The name CANDELA, has described very well the energy and intensity of this great Bay Area Salsa Band, with live performances for well over two decades now! www.musicandela.com

In addition, there will also be performances by the Richmond Jazz Collective with special guest Valerie Troutt, the Richmond Bloco Steel Band, Kpanlogo Drumming, and special guest DJ Joshua Hollander. Performances will feature all-star faculty, alumni, and special guests in both theaters. Come Celebrate!
