Private Lessons

Students may enter the private lesson program at any time during the year to study with one of our dedicated faculty members in instrumental and vocal music or they may request individual coaching in theater, film arts and dance. All private instruction students must register in person. An advisory interview by a designated program staff or faculty member is required for initial placement. Currently, private instruction is offered in voice, piano, violin, cello, trumpet, trombone, flute, clarinet, saxophone, recorder, guitar, bass guitar, drums and percussion. Our roster is continually expanding; if you don’t see the instrument you are interested in, please enquire. 30 minute, 45 minute, and hour lessons are offered.

In addition, a limited number of private lessons are given at Jefferson Elementary School, 1400 Ada St., Berkeley, CA. These are only given on Wednesdays. Please contact Randall Wong, 510-323-2492 or randall@eastbaycenter.org for information and availability.
