War at Home

Thursday, September 17 2015 and Saturday, September 19 2015

September 17th & 19th "The War at Home" will be performed East Bay Center for the Performing Arts. The Play: "This is the story of how America lost World War II. This is a story of black soldiers, Americans, who fought for freedoms they would never see on American soil. Based on the true story of Jesse Thornton -- a black man who was killed by a white police officer for refusing to call him "Mr." -- the narrative highlights how the war abroad only highlighted the hypocrisy of America's racial hatred and the question of what democracy and equality mean on American soil. http://thewarathome.brownpapertickets.com/
